Hi! My name is Monika Valencia. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist, but my true passions are in swimming and teaching babies to swim. I was a parent myself with a backyard pool so I recognized that danger was present. I was driven by the desire to protect my children from the tragic risk of childhood drowning when I enrolled my daughter into Survival Swim Lessons with a certified SSDN instructor. After a few lessons, I witnessed the transformative power of swim training. The training made an impact on me and I had an epiphany for my own life’s purpose, to prevent childhood drowning.
